America needs a Kevin Page, Parliamentary Budget Officer for Canada. It's 25 minutes long, but listen to the podcast. The first five minutes are gold, if you want a preview of what will be necessary in the United States. It won't happen in this administration, but it will certainly have to happen in the next. The bottom line: citizens love him and what he's doing... the government? Not so much. |
