I did a lunchtime watercolor sketch for the first time in quite a while today. Here's the original:  And then here's what I did in about 40 minutes:  Not too bad. I wasn't able to finish it because I ran out of time, so his glasses are only hinted at. But I really like painting people - and this guy is so full of joy - I would have liked to finish this one... maybe I will do more work on it this weekend. |
