I can't explain why, but doing this pen-and-ink thing with the watercolor is deeply satisfying. And I'm not even particularly proud of the results, but just doing it feels good. It's almost like I don't care about how it looks. It's fun just to grab an image and paint without worrying about how accurate it is and then throw color at it.  The faces too. They have a lot to do with this. |
