How to Make Art on Verizon's LG Dare Phone

My friend, Jeff, suggested that I make a video about drawing on the Dare. So here it is.

He might have intended that I actually draw on the Dare and record it. But I can't have the camera running and accurately draw at the same time, I discovered.

What I hope is that more people come to the Dare and create art on their cell phones as a result of the video.

A progression I've considered...

  1. The cell started out as an instrument for communication.
  2. Then the cell phone became an instrument for productivity, with the addition of email and calendaring.
  3. With the iPhone, the cell phone became an instrument for entertainment.
  4. I think we're moving into a period where the cell phone becomes an instrument for creativity.
It will be interesting to see if others start using the Dare to draw. I know of a couple of people, but they don't really post their artwork in a central place.

I'm out west this week for work and have to give Verizon and the Dare another big thumbs up! With VZNavigator, who needs a separate GPS unit? The turn by turn directions were fantastic. Cost me less than buying a map!

Yes! I discovered that myself recently, and it rocks :)

Very cool, PR. I'm glad that you are diggin' your phone, buddy.

Hey I was over Iowa today. :) Couldn't see a thing though and the damn plane bounced all the way from Detroit to Denver. I do NOT like landings where you don't see land until the last minute of final approach.

PR has returned to the mother land and is now in search of some good scotch.

I also have been creating art with my Dare and I am happy to find someone else that is doing this. I would like to publish my art to a Dare website or something. What can you tell me about this?
