Men are often capable of greater things than they perform. They are sent into the world with bills of credit, and seldom draw to their full extent.

When Your World View Handicaps You

Given an economics quiz, here are the results:

Is there any wonder that the country's economic health is suffering at the hands of our progressive leadership?

Frankly I'm surprised 16% of Libertarians weren't up to snuff.

Must be as a results of the party's recent swell of "me too!" Libertarians who are still finding their ideological footing.

This is news? Progressives, by definition, conceptualize outside the box. The constructs that are being assessed certainly do not measure creative or innovative thinking--which is often at odds with convention. Tests certainly do not address postmodern or alternative economic philosophy or theories. Your categorical insinuations and failure to acknowledge the reality beyond your own myopic ideology reveals a bias and ignorance. Such wholesale generalizations and radical reductionist thought is typical of the narrow world view that T-baggers cling to. Gripped by fear, manipulated and motivated by lies, and mired in an extreme effort to conserve the social and economic status quo, you are incarcerated in the mental dungeon of a former era whose conventions and "wisdoms" are fast fading. I pity your incapacity to grasp the new social and economic realities that present themselves; your stubborn refusal to evolve is both a source of torment and amusement. What can we "progressives" do to help knuckle-draggers get beyond the 1950s? Ahhhh...the hegemonic nature of linguistic constructs, e.g., PROGRESSIVE!!

You misspelled PROGRESSIVE. It's "B-A-I-L-O-U-T."

Fancy words don't erase the fact that math escapes your ilk. Hey - did you see that the nation's debt will climb to almost $20 trillion by 2015? It's unfortunate, but children will hate your politics for bankrupting their generation.

"I pity your incapacity to grasp the new social and economic realities that present themselves your stubborn refusal to evolve is both a source of torment and amusement."

Oh we do grasp the new social and economic realities, it's called BANKRUPTCY! We can do basic math, thus our stubborn refusal to "evolve" as you say. I guess evolution these days means stick your head in the sand, ignore sound economic principles, and run up the debt for future generations.

Jackass to Idiot: your economic model is failing. Death throes. Take a look at the pictures from the Gulf (or is that an inconvenient truth?). Private profit at public and environmental expense has proven unsustainable. Look what you have done with this approach. This incident (and others soon to come) will redshape economics relative to productive resources and redefine theory. And incidentally, the tests of who or who isn't "enlightened" will be reshaped.

As for deficits, to phrase an analogy, "more baby more!" It is my great hope that deficits will result in systemic implosion, and from the ashes of the old the new economic order will arise. This will likely not occur in our lifetimes, but when survival collides with the effort to sustain an archaic economic system premised on extreme individualism and driven by risk in the pursuit of profit, survival will triumph. With the introduction of modern technologies (alas, in the hands of Neanderthalic "managers"), the demon of greed has shown its ugly face. Alas, we can plunder at will, but the consequences are biting us in the arse.

Idiot.

My economic model is failing? Try again jackass. Out of control spending in the public sector is what is burying our economy and socialist economies across the globe.

"This incident (and others soon to come) will redshape economics relative to productive resources and redefine theory." Really? Your "theory" is what those of us with common sense call fantasy. This is nothing but a not so eloquent rant against the capitalist machine. Propose solutions based in reality, then we can have an actual discussion.

In the meantime a bit of advice. Don't drink the bong water next time.

Jackass.

Tonight: "The vote was 53-47 to stop the Senate from moving forward on the Republican-led effort to restrain the EPA."

You see, Idiot, in the midst of a capitalist calamity of unparalelled proportions, the right insists on putting individual and personal profit ahead of the broader social welfare or at least they try. The failure of your ideology and the economic system that sustains it is apparent to all of those with eyes--moreover minds.

The mess in the Gulf is a direct consequence of the faulure of your world view. The sooner we replace it (and those of you who cling like knuckle-dragging Neanderthals to an obsolete reality), the better. Your obstinance and juvenile response is entirely expected of one whose mentality precludes evolution. You cannot adapt, so you scream, death throes. So be it. In due time your screams will die out and be silenced.

Face it: You are old news. Nor can you, personally, hide behind some metaphoric 1970s monicker such as "Pale Rider" the 70s are ong gone. And lest you fail to realize it, we have guns too--and more important, we're in power. Our guns are bigger. And we're really, really cool under pressure...and under fire.

Dare ya.

"Nor can you, personally, hide behind some metaphoric 1970s monicker such as "Pale Rider" the 70s are ong gone." Really? Ummm thanks for the lesson "Spock."

Enjoy the last few months of power, you'll never see socialists get it again in this country during your lifetime. Your guns are not bigger, they are just dumber, it is the only way Barry could get elected. As for being "really, really cool under pressure...and under fire," you really need to lay off the bong.

Jackass.

McChrystal is gone---and good riddance. We control the big guns. You and your radical right-wingnut minions had better watch your step...
